In April 2019, PID continued on its growth path by acquiring the majority of the shares in the medium-sized Datakamp System GmbH & Co. based in Buxtehude.
Datakamp has been developing and manufacturing electronic system components for industrial applications since 1985. The focus is on the development of modern embedded computer systems based on ARM and X86 architectures.
In addition to the development, production and sale of automation systems and embedded computer systems, Datakamp also offers all related services for the respective software and hardware products.
With this performance profile, the company fits perfectly into the company portfolio of PID: “Datakamp complements our development activities with important know-how and additional capacity – which makes us even better equipped for the further and new development of machines and services,” says Dietrich Barsch , Managing Director of POSSEHL Identification Solutions.
